Travel with guns
When you are a full timer what issues are there with having a gun for protection? Restrictions when crossing state lines? Thank you.

Yea, but you can be sued for wronful death if you shot somebody outside your house in California. There was a true story about a bugular who fell through a skylight breaking in to a warehouse. He was not killed but hurt. He sued the owners of the building and won a judgemnent.

You can be sued for shooting them inside your house too. The fact is tampering with the crime scene to make it look like something different happened is a sure fire way to get sent to prison. Once it's figured out that you shot them outside and drug them back inside then you can claim self defense all you want, but unless you have other witnesses it's going to be presumed you're just a liar and moved the body inside the house to cover your murder. Do not drag a body anyplace.
