Having owned about every type of RV over the years, once you can us a RV more than 100+ days a year I gave the 5er to the kids and bought a used DP. Made the mistake of listening to those on here that say 36' is the max for NP, SP, COE, BLM CGs as it did not take long to learn that's not true. A big DP is the nicest and most expensive way to go down the road. Do not worry about the 50 cents/mile for fuel for the DP as the car gets 17 Cents/mile and we put about the same number of miles on it. We are only half timers spending three months in Fla at one spot each winter and no way would I go back to a 5er even though I still have the diesel PU.
