Thanks for the general advice folks- anyone willing to share exact make/model/years etc. of their rigs and how well they've held up over thousands of miles of travel?
We have been fulltime for 9 years...six of those were in a Heartland Bighorn fiver. We ordered it with dual pane windows to help with noise reduction and dealing with getting stuck occasionally in colder weather than we'd like...which did happen. We also had two A/C's which are a must.
We put over 80k miles on that rig and it held up beautifully with regular maintenance, etc. So much so that we up graded to a Landmark and in 1 1/2 years we have over 10k miles on it...BTW, the Bighorn was in such good shape dealer sold it in less than two weeks.
We tend to sit a week or two when not working so the extra room in a fiver over a MH appeals to us.
