Trying to figure out legalities

I have lived in one place for 23 yrs. but my landlady is selling. I am ready to hit the road. I can't find any info about someone who has no state to call their own. How do I handle insurance. I plan on switching SS check to the card so I don't need a bank. How do I handle registration, inspection, et al. Any advice?

    You'll have to pick one to get a driver's license and vehicle registration, no matter what. Lots of good info on here about exactly that, too much for me to cover, but lots of posts about it ... particularly which states and why.

    The escapees RV site is a good start - they're in Texas.

    It's hard to imagine anyone on here without any state of residence, but perhaps there is.

    Why would you not want a bank?
