Unlimited streaming wifi??

If you do go with multiple hotspots, I would also suggest a Cradlepoint MB4200 or similar router. It has load balancing features which will let you connect all devices to the router and it will pull evenly from each. I have one connected to both an AT&T and Verizon mifi and it spreads the data between the two amazingly well.

I feel your pain. We are seriously planning to return to the road in a "part time" basis (7-8 months per year) and need the internet for homeschooling my two kids and my work. The best answers I have found is for our family to purchase two Millenicom MiFi sets and get our Verizon phones to have a 20 gig data plan. I am HOPING this will meet our needs.

We want to be on the road, but my family uses a fair amount of data.

Since all the Blockbusters have shut down, we rent an HD movie on DirecTV for $5.99 +Tx. I think we get 48 hrs to watch and it's an Instant Download, but we can pause with the DVR's for bathroom breaks.

It's no longer necessary to buy 2 Millenicom devices as it was in the past. The 20GB service now costs $89.99/month and if you exceed that limit you can simply buy another 20GB for another $89.99.

Hi Guys, I'm an eBay seller going on the road. I have heard MiFi has security where WiFi is scetchy for PayPal and such?
I use a lot of data and wondering where to turn for a Hotspot?
I like the desert near Blythe and have heard Verizon is best out there?
Any responses appreciated.

As long as you have an HTTPS (the S is critical) before you enter any personal information then the data between your computer and the website is completely secure whether you are using your own cellular connection or an open WiFi connection.
If you go hotspot AND use a lot of data then Millenicom has the most GB's for the least amount of money but at $90/month you are going to want to use ALL of those 20GB to make it worthwhile.

I won't be doing my banking from an open Wifi connection whether you say it is safe or not. Chances are good there is no hacker around, but it is not foolproof.

Actually, it is. You just have to ensure you have the all important HTTPS connection before entering any personal information.
Don't confuse this with a suggestion that you do it. That's up to you and what you do is of no concern to me. :C

If you say it, it must be true. Not. A hacker can access your device on an open connection, install a keystroke capture program and record everything you type into your HTTPS site. Chances are slim this is going to happen, but it is still not foolproof any way you slice it.

There are many levels of paranoia. I am quite comfortable with mine.

Vigilance and paranoia are two different things. If you want to take the chance of being hacked go right ahead. My point is that you are wrong saying that nothing bad can happen on an open connection as long as the website is HTTPS.
