Yes, it is definitely worth it. We have a Splendide 2100xc vented combo. I use it for everything, including king size sheets and comforter.
I thought I would miss the closet space, but once we hit the road, we are wearing far fewer clothes than anticipated. When I did the house/ rv transition, I donated about half the clothes we had. Since we have been on the road, I have purged clothing a couple more times.
If you have the space, get a separate w/d. If you do not have the space, be sure to get a vented combo.
