We did not have a WD for the first 3.5 years of full timing. We both felt it was not a big deal to do laundry at the RV park. Then we stayed somewhere that we had to use the local public laundry. We really did not like that!
We decided to have the WD option on the MobileSuites we ordered. We also opted for the 240V dryer option. The fact is the 120V models take too long to dry and use a lot more electricity getting the job done. Ours are side by side Whirlpool apartment size. Amazing how much you can wash and dry in these. Another thing to consider is the fact we both noticed how much cleaner all our clothes and towels looked after only one washing with the new unit!
So now that we have had the WD for a few months we both keep saying we are really happy we have them!
