The wen appears to be in the same group with the Predator and a few others which are part of a new group founded by Champion. They are predominatly Chinese made components and may be assembled anywhere. Chinese made clones of Honda and Yamaha products have been around for A couple of decades now, and are improving steadily in quality. They will not be at the same level of fit, finish , nor will they quite match the performance of the brand they emulate, and much like Hyundai they offer a good quality product, but a slightly lesser product, than the brands they are imitating. However they do it at a discount, somewhat like a Chevy being a lesser Cadillac, nothing wrong with it, but some will turn their noses up and tell you that "Its what I have" with the inference being that anything else is no good.
Look for a warranty, and take the best shot based on your budget.
