What Did You Do With Your Heirlooms And Jewellery?

Just curious what you all did/do with your jewellery. We haven't bought any for many many years, as there's only so much any one can wear over time, and we find we tend to stick with the same pieces for the most part over and over.

Have inherited my mothers, fathers, grandparents, great aunts engagement rings, wedding rings and other pieces and some are truly beautiful. For sure it all compact wouldn't take up much room but ........

Just thinking that an RV isn't that hard to break into and it would be awful if we had it all stolen.

What did you do with all your jewellery pieces before you went FT? Thxs. FTW

    We've passed anything of value along to our daughters, since they'll inherit it anyway. We also put our Adirondack cottage in all of our names with the right of survivorship, so there won't be any probate issues regarding that property when the time comes.

    gave it away to family except a couple of favorites. They were thrilled to have something from their ancestors. Give them a letter with stories of the person who wore it. You could also put it in a lock box at a bank if it's valuable. Another option is a safe installed in the RV. Don't need a lot of jewelry when you're in shorts and tee shirts! LOL
