In my last TT I had a miserable time with a soaking wet bottom of my mattress. It was so bad I had to stand the mattress on edge during the day to let it dry out. And put a heater there.
And of course I was the brunt of all kinds of jokes about my nocturnal shortcomings! :B:B No, its wet on the bottom, not the top! Haha!
My bed was over top of my storage area, with an outside access door. In the same area was my fresh water tank. My TT had a leak in the back corner, so it was very wet inside the storage area. So wet that the entire floor rotted out. This ultimately led to the demise of my TT and I sold it as a fixer upper.
One solution, or partial solution I found was to put a layer of 1/4" foam board - the stuff they use in the building industry to put on houses before siding them. It comes in 4 feet X 50 foot pieces, fan folded at 2 feet.
I cut some to size and put it on the plywood my mattress sits on.
Although it didn't eliminate the problem, it did substantially reduce it.
I suggest you check the area under your bed to see if you have excessive moisture, or possibly a leak.
My current TT also has the bed over the storage area with outside access, and I just now ran my hand under the mattress to the plywood. It is dry as a bone. And I have had my TT closed up tight and living in it in freezing temperatures since Jan 26.
Try the foam board stuff. It helped me.
