Nothing under my mattress except plywood. Lots of time spent in FL and even 1 summer near Seattle. The only time I had a moisture problem in the mattress was when the Fantastic Vent over the bed didn't close automatically during a FL thunderstorm while I was away from the RV. I wasn't real happy about that but I did discover that the memory foam mattress will dry much quicker than a standard mattress. I just slid that corner of the bed off the edge of the pedestal and it drained/dried in a few hours.
