Where do you spend your winters?

As fulltimers we go south when it's cold up north and north with it's hot down south. We have "wintered" in Key West and southern Texas. I'd be interested in knowing what good spots are out there that we haven't considered yet.

Please share your favorite winter locations and please include the RV park/campground that you liked best there.

Santa Maria, Ca, along with Solvang, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach. Can't beat the weather. Google this area, and see for yourself. Good Luck P.S. Hidden gems are Vandenberg AFB or Camp Roberts.

X2 on this suggestion. Also Morro Bay and don't forget So Cal, it's got many rural types of RV Parks (East Shore RV Park, San Dimas)

What part of Texas have you stayed in? Thanks
  • Mesa, Arizona. Loads and loads of RV parks of every size, and price, in the area. Lots of things to do both locally and with day trips out into the desert. Great museums and performing arts centers and, of course, spring training in March.

  • North Central Florida west side.

Took me 6 years of full timing to discover this area. The Springs are spectacular and CG rates unbelievable compared to down south.

Wish I would have found it sooner!
