We also love Haines Alaska! One of our favorites. Are you at the Hitchup RV Park? We also had a 33' Sightseer. Had to eventually trade. Now have a diesel pusher. 33' Sightseer has a great floor plan! As for wintering, depends on if you want desert or mountains or near water and how warm you want to be. States that are popular are: AZ, TX, AL, FL. We like Hot Springs Arkansas. Mild winters (not warm), beautiful scenery. We found a beautiful new RV park in Freeport FL that is very rural and quiet and near enough to town that you can drive to restaurants. About 11 miles from the beach. It's called Live Oak Landing. Not as warm as south florida but we like it better.
