If you’ll spend most of your time off the beaten path, I’d plan on getting a portable hotspot, get a WeBoost to allow you to get a better signal, and try to find a good or unlimited data plan. We have been all over the country using Verizon, and overall their coverage has been good, though we also had success in the east with ATT. For your WeBoost, I’d mount a short mast on the ladder of your rig( or other high point. That will allow you to manually rotate the antenna to get the best signal. Good luck.
