I just signed up for GS Travel Assist and was looking forward to using the $15 coupon on our upcoming trip in July. Little did I know the coupon would expire on June 30, 2017. With the closest Camping World 130 miles round trip from us and with a cost of gas and tolls exceeding $30 it doesn't do me any good. I had planned to use the coupon while traveling cross country in July when we would be passing a CW or once we arrived at destination.It would be nice if it could be used online or and least good for a longer period. If I had know I would have waited before signing up for Travel Assist. This really disappoints me.

Read the fine print. Lots of coupons...markets, department stores...have a "short" coupon period...not just CW. Thirty day+ coupon is long IMO. What's "UNnice" about it? CW...and most other retailers...want you in their store...the point of the coupon.

I never said it was un-nice, just would have been nice to be valid longer. And yes I have had coupons for local stores with longer valid periods. But most stores that are also online allow the coupon to be use there as well. Since CW is also online, why not open the coupon for online purchases? At least if I get a Cabelas or Bass Pro Shop coupon being 1 to 2 hours away I can still use it online.Point being there is no incentive to shop at CW for a $15 coupon when you have to travel so far to get to them. If there is any chance this could change I would think we all could benefit from my comments. Don't you?26 year U.S. Air Force veteran

Around here 130 mile round trip is just a little fun outing.In some of the other posts on the forum ,they said you could make an online order and then send in coupon to redeem the amount in a refund. Does it say it can't be used online?

I have to agree with the OP on this one. I just traveled about the same round trip to use a 20.00 coupon at CW which I would have gladly used on line if shipping had been included..I wasn't going to use half the coupon amount on shipping! And as the OP pointed out, I will also be getting the 15.00 coupon in the mail since I also just signed up for Roadside Assistance. (oh, by the way, my CW excursion cost me about the same as a shopping trip to Costco, meaning I certainly spent more than just the coupon but of course that's the whole idea behind getting you into the store!!! Oh well, it was a good outing..:-)

I recently bought items on-line and then sent my coupon in for a credit on my card. No problems and I was surprised on how quickly the credit came through.

I am sure I would not be the only member that would be a bit disappointed to miss out on an offer due to the distance CW stores are from many. And that disappointment was all that I was expressing and not lodging a complaint. I got a good deal on the cost of Travel Assist and hopefully I won't need to use it.

Not being nice is "un-nice" and more than 30 days is generous. I'm first in line to complain about CW when they are "wrong" but you are wrong here. Valid longer?...more than thirty days?
