At only $79 a year for prime membership. Great if you order more than half dozen things a year through Amazon. We have it and do order a lot of things through Amazon. But not everything on Amazon is available for Prime shipping.
I ordered 73 items in 2013. The membership pays for itself at that rate. I have an app on my phone that scans items in stores and gives me the Amazon prices. Most of the time, Amazon beats the stores.
The Prime service applies to any address I send to, so gift giving is easier as well as sending to camp sites, if I ever need that.
