Two nights ago at 4:30 p.m. we had a blow out on our truck on US 95 16 miles north of Beatty, NV. We called GSRA and (to make a long story short) talked to 7 different dispatchers over a course of 5 hours. The last guy we talked to "Sal" said we were on our own. Finally a Nevada State Trooper came by, called a tire guy and we were on our way in 30 minutes. The sad thing is the tire guy that came out has answered calls for GS in the past and never got a call. Marcus, to say we are not happy is an understatement. You must not be very happy about this either.

Posts like this show up here almost everyday (and are quickly deleted). I would expect nothing else form GS.

In a lot of places it would take time to go find a place where you can get cell service. If your rig is down, that is not so easy to accomplish.

Then when you do reach someone and you describe your locatin at mile market 139, you are a long way from help.

Thanks for posting your story.
Beatty is on a main highway, not that far from Nevada's largest city.
Imagine what happens out by Tuscarora, Jarbidge or Denio.
Paying for a service to come and help gives people a false sense of security.
YOu are on your own out there.
