Good Sam has served us well fulltiming for 20+ years.
It seems to be *really* hit or miss. In low call volume times service seems to be acceptable.
I had need of their service 3 times, first was a lock-out (the dog stepped on the lock button on the door), the second was for a flat in a park (picked up a nail somewhere, but it only went flat overnight) and once for a transmission problem on the side of the road.
The last one was the issue, it was on the side of an Interstate, in a blizzard, on President’s Day. After way too many phone calls sitting there freezing (couldn’t run the engine and out of propane) for 4 hours a sympathetic tow operator stopped by to check on us. He made no bones about saying that GS had called them numerous times but they were under orders NOT to take the job because GS paid a LOT less than the regular customers would pay. It was only after they were mostly caught up that he took the time to service us.
Never again!!
