In spite of what you may see in this blog, we are in the business of paying claims and doing it as quickly as we can. We do need to see the what the damage is before we can authorize the claim payment on a claim this size. Generally, a tear-down is required to make the repairs anyway, so if we can coordinate with the repair shop to be there after they have done the tear-down and before they start the rebuild, we can move forward without delay. Our inspector was there yesterday ready to go but the unit was not torn down yet. He will be back as soon as the shop can get the unit torn down, tommorrow if they are ready.
