Another good GS experience

I know this was a basic service but so many people take the time to complain when the service is bad (as they should) but not many take time to say "Good Job" when the service is good.

My family is planning to take our TT to a local state park over the long Thanksgiving break, leaving on this coming Wednesday. I usually go to my storage lot the night before we leave to air up the tires, turn on fridge, etc. Well, I decided to go to the lot on Sunday afternoon instead (thank God!). Pulled the tire cover off one of my brand new Maxxis tires (only been on the TT 7 months) and there is a nice blister/bubble on the side of the tire.

Called GSRA on Sunday afternoon, explained the issue, and they said they would have someone out on Monday morning at 10am to put on my spare. Yes, I could have done it myself but I pay for the premium service and my work schedule has been really busy. This morning, GS called at 9:15am and verified that I still needed the service. A few minutes later, the local vendor called and said he would meet me in 10-15 minutes at the lot. He showed up, had the tire changed in less than 5 minutes and I only missed about 35 minutes of work!

Hopefully dealing with Maxxis to get my defective tire replaced will be this easy.

  • GREAT to hear! I am sure there are a lot more positive experiences out there. We have GSRA and have used them twice and love it! Gives us a peace of mind while on the road.
