anyone have any experience with the Good Sam Trip planner?

Has a lot of great features. However I am trying to figure out how to figure out every 250-300 miles for stopping for the night. Anyone know a short way of doing this? I have been doing it by hand an...

The frustrating part is when there are no campgrounds near the spot I'd like to schedule a stop for the day.
