Yes, otherwise, if its stolen, they will issue the payoff to the note holder!
Don't ask me how I know....
You will then have to have the note holder endorse it, if they are far away it will delay time to money!

WRONG!

If you have an accident, your insurer will often send funds made payable to you and your lien holder. You would be very wise to remove any lien holders from any insurance policy.

Not unless you were first leasing it then purchased it outright. Lease rates are more expensive than purchase rates.
