BARCLAY BANK PROBLEMS

Iam new to this forum stuff so please excuse my stupidity

iam having a real problem with being a member of the good sams club after reading recently of the problems and fine of 43.5 million that was imposed on them
why does the good sam club and camping world have to deal with this kind of gangster type bank
why can't we deal with a normal locally owned bank born and made in America
Barclays is a foreign bank do we really need to deal with this
I was just wondering what other members think of this
I have been a life member since 2008
Perhaps we should bring this up to mr marcus Lemonis and encourage him to find another bank to deal with a great responce he may see my point
Thank You for your time

Banks are on my "check list" of what to avoid if at all possible.

Sometimes you can't get around doing business without a bank involved. IMO their advertising should include their "rap" sheet so people could tell who they are doing business with. In the mean time a credit union is way to go.

Barclays was front and center in worlds largest banking scandal

If you have a 401 or just about any investment they got some of your money or you paid more fees IMO.
  • Bank of America sure had its problems in the past couple of years, Wells Fargo and US Bank has always been good for me..
  • Well see there......

OP made a post about issue using Barclays and Marcus responded that they are moving.
  • OP, perhaps you could explain how the matter is any of your business!

Out of curiosity I did a smidge of research. The Good Sam Visa Signature Card is issued by Barclays Bank Delaware.

    Good Sam Visa Signature card

Presumably GS also has other business dealings with Barclays. Doesn't matter to me. I don't have the card but even if I did they wouldn't make any interest off me.

Maybe the OP has the card or some other financial instrument through Good Sam/Barclays.

Could someone explain this thread to me? I have no idea what the OP is talking about.
I guess the revelation that there is greed and corruption in the banking industry.;)

Dare I hope that you've chosen the institution I mentioned earlier? :B
