Bombarded with Advertisements

As a Good Sam member, I also have your seven-year extended warranty on our new motorhome, Roadside Assistance from Good Sam (for over two years), and Good Sam Travel Assist (also for nearly two years). In spite of being a member of each of these programs, I am constantly bombarded with mailed advertisements for these services.

This is a waste of my time, your time, and misspent advertising dollars, and it's frustrating. Dollars wasted on redundant mailings could be applied to lowering the cost of these services, and everyone would benefit. And, the practice makes it appear that one hand doesn't know what the other one is doing - amateurish, and unprofessional, and your customers know this isn't the image you wish to portray.

Please, have your marketing group get up to speed on us current members, and let's reduce and eliminate expensive, wasted mailings.

  • Thanks to Glenn for addressing my concern, and the other administrator who joined -- greatly appreciated!
  • Seems the team missed the OPs point. He is pointing out the thousands of redundant malings to tens of thousands Good Sam members and the cost and annoyance involved.
    He is not requesting only his flood of mass Good Sam mailings be curtailed.

    I guess you are referring to emails and regular mail advertisements...

    You can also move to the WOODALLs portal and use that instead of the RV.NET portal. It seems to show less RV.NET FORUM advertisements for us at any rate...

    Both portals have all the same forum content...

    I am using firefox here as my internet browser and am on the WOODALLs portal for the RV.NET forum information...
