Breakdown

QUESTION RVers. If I get several hundred miles away from home and my vehicle is unrepairable. How do I get my vehicle and camp trailer back home. We feel we take this risk every time we get far from home.
Advice is greatly appreciated.

Your only choice is to have it towed home on a flat bed or some other method. If you have roadside assistance, that will pay to the nearest repair facility normally.
  • Welcome to the forum. Obviously, make sure your vehicle and RV are in good condition to avoid a breakdown.

If it happens do you have a roadside assistance policy like:
    Good Sam or Coach-Net?

They will not tow you home but, will take you to the nearest repair shop, there are others available but these two are popular.
  • If it's not repairable leave it there. There are various car/vehicle transport services. Shop for best deal.
