I've stayed at Shenandoah Crossing a couple of times. Their listing on the C2C site says this:
Deluxe RV Site, 1500 Points <---- Back in?
Deluxe RV Site, 2000 Points <---- Pull through?
Elite RV Site, 2000 Points <----- I can't recall what differentiates this one.
Elite RV Site, 2500 Points <----- I think this is the one with the hot tub.
This is confusing, as it apparently lists the lowest tier for two different prices. Ditto for the upper tier.
SC has a rather unique setup, different from other places that I've stayed via C2C. I don't think the higher end tiers have ever been available to C2C members. I suspect that there's no requirement that they be available, even though they are priced out.
They used to have a very old and very tight camping section. I cannot recall if that section is still there. Since I first stayed there in 2002, they have built an entirely new camping section, most with concrete pads, grills and furniture ($20/night and up I think). Every time I've stayed there since, I've reserved a basic pull through site.
The first one of those I stayed in was nice and well-maintained, though surprisingly unlevel for a concrete pad. The second one had a broken off sewer connector left in it from the previous guest. I reported it and maintenance was there within an hour to remove it so I could use my sewer connection.
From what I have seen, Shenandoah Crossing has met both the letter and spirit of the C2C agreement for hosting C2C members when I have stayed there. Every campground is going to hold back better sites and other perks for its direct membership and block out holidays. When I look at the 2 month availability calendar on the C2C website, I see availability for deluxe sites on both weekdays and non-holiday weekends.
