All Insurance is legalized discrimination.
Age, sex, race, health, income level, credit rating, how far you drive, occupation, usage you name it and they can legally require you to pay more/less and/or refuse service altogether. Any statistic they come up with basically.
Nearly every protected status there is is allowed legalized discrimination for the purposes of Insurance policy underwriting.
