Certificate not honored by Good Sam.
So, in todays mail I received my 'Good for one nights Camping' Certificate back, and a letter saying the campground was not a Good Sam CG.
That ridiculous 5-inch thick book I have to haul around has the park listed in it. When I double checked online, it was listed, the park had more Good Sam 'stuff' hanging all over than was normal. I did get my discount at the park, and even a free night because there was an error in the reservations, and they needed to ask us to move to another site. (they were so upset about it, I couldn't get mad).
So, I decided to go back online to see about this park, and now it is not listed! Huh? They did send the certificate back to be used at another park at least.
But this is what concerns me. In the 4 months we have been a GSM, I am getting a sense of serious disconnect in the whole Camping World organization. I have encountered service issues that I would have terminated people over in my career, and just a lack of caring.
More disconnect: In todays mail as well, was a packet selling me on/trying to get me to join GS Roadside, GS Warranty, Travel Assist. I ALREADY HAVE THESE SERVICES! GS is wasting monies sending this advertising stuff to members that already have the services. Nothing in this is geared towards extension of services - it's all about getting new members signed up.
So I have my certifiacte back to re-use, so I guess I will give it another try. Thaks for letting me vent...lol
