Has anyone ever called a Goodyear company to see how much it would cost to have them respond and have a spare mounted on a rim on the side of the road? I would be interested to know what the cost would be. I've never had to use the service, but It sounds like GS is making money on the deal. I heard before about giving them a credit card number for repairs like that, but never thought much about it. My motorhome doesn't have a spare. I might be looking for one and one on a rim to have to avoid that $129 extra charge. My understanding is that they will change an inflated spare with the bad for the included service call. According to their brochure, there's an "or" they will tow to the nearest professional service center. So I guess if you have time to spare and want to save a little money, you could just have them tow you and then pay a cheaper rate to a service center. I guess it depends on how much your time is worth.
