The charge for "Shop Supplies" is industry wide and is the shops way of increasing their profit margin with no real expenditure. Shop supplies cover everything from the rag the mechanic cleans his hands with to the penetrating spray used to free up a rusted bolt.
Don't forget the hazardous waste removal fee.
