Classic, Deluxe, Premium: What's the distiction

What is the criteria that separates the three levels? I stayed at a half-dozen C2C campgrounds this summer and the service and conditions of the resorts vary greatly. Does the category give me a clue as to what I can expect at a resort.

  • We were offered an RPI membership FREE.
All we had to pay was the transfer fee.
The park looked at it and came back with
    a price of $1400.00.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK WHEN BUYING RESALE.
  • yes good advice. But I was not aware of any parks not wanting to accept the deal, its money for them and transfer fees are sorta set and easy enough to find out. most are 100 to 200 more or less..

As stated before.....be careful buying resale.
The park has to agree and can charge a lot of money for transfer fees.
Check with the park before buying.

  • from my research the best bet is deluxe level at a good resort that is 1. close to your home for easy usage and 2. buying resale. plus you have to remember the 125 mile rule. If you live in an area that has lots of resorts buying in one that is not close might be a better way to go..

that way you are not blocked out of other resort close by.

I saw a membership for sale on ebay that was both C2C and RPI parks..
  • I am happy to hear that the Premier membership is still available.
I have the Premier but was told that it was not being sold any longer.
  • Strange how there were 2 different posts from 'Good Sam Care Team' (one now deleted) and neither post gave any details.

Cost for each level of C2C memberships, length of stays at various affiliate CGs, restrictions/time out, number of stays allowed during each year, peak time usage.

Both just a generic description. And one gets removed ........

Very little in details can be found via websites/internet search unless actual member

    WHY no details :H

    Some C2C info.......LINK
  • Slay,

Thank you for your time and post. The category of Classic, Deluxe or Premier Park does not dictate amenities.

It does indicate what that resort may sell:

Classic parks sell only Classic memberships

Deluxe parks may sell both Classic and Deluxe memberships

Premier Parks may sell Classic, Deluxe and Premier memberships

Good Sam Rating teams rate our parks every year and that is a strong indication of what conditions to expect. I hope this information is useful for future campground choice considerations. Thank you again for your time and post.

    Thank you,

  • Classic......can only stay at affiliate CGs for up to 7 nights

Deluxe.......can stay at Classic & Deluxe CGs for up to 7 nights/classic and 14 nights Deluxe

Premiere.....can stay at any of the affiliate CGs 7/classic and 14/deluxe-premiere PLUS can use condo affiliates, travel/fly discounts

Home park distinction is what determines which level (Home park Classic then you can only have Classic C2C etc.)
