The simplest and cheapest way to cure the problem is to get married. Otherwise you each need to carry a policy. Whether it be AAA or GSRA or any other roadside assistance program you look at you will run into this problem.
Just as an FYI we carry both AAA and GSRA programs. When one doesn't work the other one will. We have had good luck with both. AAA seems to be faster, but you have to do your own repair shop locating whereas GSRA will do that for you before they call a tow truck.
