I'm not an expert, not even a good novice, but I can give you an example from previous experience with extended warranties. If the leak is a gasket or a seal it probably is NOT covered. If the lead is a faulty hose it may be covered. If the leak is due to a bad motor or piston it is probably covered. It will take a technician to inspect the problem to give you and idea what to ask. I don't believe the GS contracted policy has consequential damage coverage...most policies do not. That means if the problem is caused by a covered part but is not a covered part, it is not covered. You will probably have to have the leak fixed at your own expense, and if the part turns out to be a covered part, you can call for an authorization for repair. YOU MUST GET PRIOR AUTHORIZATION BEFORE THE REPAIR IS COMPLETED...MUST, MUST, MUST. This will usually mean a day to diagnose the problem, a day to get authorization, and a day for repair...at least.
Good Luck
