Dennis, that is the very business model of these "extended warranty" plans. They have all the reasons why their very carefully worded contract will not cover a repair. However, the equally carefully worded sales brochure leads one to believe that "everything" is covered.
You would be very wise to negotiate a refund, probably prorated, on the purchase of this warranty and just cover any repairs yourself. Statistically you will be money ahead.
