Dear Marcus/Ella (again)

Here we go again. Why do I even have to follow up through this forum?

Here is the case. I cancelled Service Agreement Number 81375233 dated 3/10/18 procured at your Valencia (CA) Dealership and sent the prescribed Cancellation Request Form and copy of the Good Same Extended Service Plan.

The cancellation was effective July 23, 2019, or the date I lost the use of the RV under the plan.

I thought I can continue my Service Plan into my new unit but I found it too costly than my previous one. Hence, I sent the ante-dated cancellation on October 15 and was told an approximately timeline of getting a refund as long as 3 weeks.

It was send Oct 15 and after a week got the confirmation from Assurant that they forward it to CW Valencia who will send me the refund.

A few follow later with no response whatsoever, so here we are again.

So what's up?

  • This is like a sick joke. Assurant emailed me that the claim for refund was processed ONLY today (after more than a month) and I have to call Camping World Valencia to follow up. The slooooooow respond since I emailed follow up from them 2 weeks ago. Who says electronic communications is faster.

    Dang, I worked in a 3rd world country and this is worst -- well, not exactly, was I would have been asked for a bribe and nothing of that sort here, just an old fashioned delay and run-around.:S (sorry no crying emoticon)

    In fairness, I previously hit two home runs with Camping World.

    But the batting average is not too good with 4 misses of this type.
