Thanks Tony/Karen. I feel that YOU GET IT! I/We are not asking anybody for anything except prayers, but I think I will even stop that! Some People seem to actually look for something to be offended about? Our hope is that EVERYBODY will take care of themselves and each other by sharing information.
Many people seem to believe that they would NEVER ALLOW themselves to get into circumstances such as this. OH but just wait! I have met many people who have believed they are in full control of all their circumstances and their destinies. I've been watching for over 60 years or so, and they are always so shocked when it did happen to them. But they remain silent because they are embarassed. I don't feel embarassed, but rather I feel grateful when "somebody up there" rescues me. Who else would send the Good Samaritan Rick Jones to tow us and loan us a vehicle to get back to NM?
Our cell phone almost went dead trying to call for another tow service. We didn't have access to yellow pages. I was dialing 911 when Rick Jones pulled up to help us. What else needs be said?
I have tried to be TRANSPARENT completely. Not perfect in the social graces department, quite lacking in proper ettiquette and proper English. I am merely a country girl brought up in Arkansas, born in Oklahoma. I can put a heavy hillbilly twist on my speaking or writing, but I just try to be myself with all my natural flaws. When I am writing/typing, I kind of take artistic license, if you will. But if my style offends anyone, it was not meant to offend or deceive. Why is it so difficult to communicate anymore?
So, thanks to you guys, Tony & Karen, for understanding that there is nothing deceitful, pretentious, or alterior motives going on here. We don't blame anybody for my husbands ill health. But when somebody doesn't honor their word or contract, why be quiet about it, when lack of integrity has an impact upon somebody's life?
You know, once I witnessed a theft. The thieves were the only ones who wanted to shut me up! I was criticized and harassed and threatened BY THE THIEVES, not by the people who would be alerted to the theives within the community. I figure I'll be criticized and belittled by the ones who are guilty of the wrongdoing.
I will stop rambling now. But I hope I was able to communicate a point I am trying to make to the critics out there. Joyce
