Okay... I tried to stay out of this one. I think the OP needs to stop wasting time trying to explain things to us. She needs to take advantage of the offers from two Good Sam contacts, Zach and Mr. Melonis himself, and discuss her situation.
She says she does not want anything, except to prevent this type of situation in the future. It behooves her to contact Good Sam so they can have an internal investigation of their own, which could in fact do more to prevent this type of thing, if it did actually happen.
