My Good Sam membership auto-renewed and was automatically paid on November 22nd, 2013. After not receiving a new membership card by January, I finally called and spoke to someone who's attitude was "...

Hi Robert,
First, I would like to sincerely apologize that you felt any attitude from our team in checking the status of your new membership card. You should have received your card in 3-4 weeks of renewal. I see that when you called, due to the delay in your card receipt, you were sent a $25 Camping World merchandise certificate (with 60-day expiration) and a $25 camping certificate (with 6-month expiration). We are expediting you a new membership card right away and I will keep in touch with you until you receive.
Regarding the weight of your card, for a short time we moved to a thinner plastic card. Now that the Good Sam Club membership card offers instant discounts on fuel at Pilot Flying J, we’ve gone back to using a thicker plastic as the card has a magnetic strip that can be swiped at Pilot Flying J to save 3¢ instantly on gas and diesel.
We truly appreciate your and your father-in-law’s membership! Note that we communicated the transition of the Highways magazine in various places last year, including:
May-July 2013: this was the last stand-alone Highways magazine issue with a two page letter on pages 4-5
May 21, 2013: “Insider” email to those opted in to receive the monthly Insider eBulletin
Oct. 15, 2013: “Insider” email to those opted in to receive the monthly Insider eBulletin
Dec. 1, 2013: “CyberSam” email to those opted in to receive the monthly CyberSam eNewsletter
We hope you opt in to receive both of these communications—it’s only 2 emails a month from the Club that will keep you informed on all the latest Club news and benefits!

Regarding membership pricing, a one-year Good Sam Club membership is $25. Or, when paying by credit card and signing up for automatic renewal the one-year membership is only $22!
