Done with CW and GS

Every time I try to deal with this outfit it is a circus act. I set appointments up for the shop, when I show up they say park it over there and we'll try to get to it this week (Fairfield). When they do work they scratched the paint and did not install necessary set screws (Willisonville). When I ask for a quote on bodywork they look at the rig and don't answer or return calls for almost three weeks (Avondale).
Now to top it off. We just get back from Canada and get our mail, about three weeks worth. For some reason I have a Coast to Coast Visa, I find out today that account has been changed to another bank and I get a new GS credit card. The Coast to Coast card is on autopay.Keep very small balance on card ($100 +-) just to show activity. Never miss or late on payment. Because of the change our automatic payment was not taken by the Coast to Coast bank and we were charged a late fee equaling 25% of the balance and interest rate was raised to the "Penalty Rate" of 30+%. We don't need or really use this card but wife says it is good for FICA score.
I no very little about FICA. But I do know I am done with GS/CW. I have tried but every time I deal with them it never works out.
I don't need the "executive team" to contact me. What's done is done and I am done.

  • Use a regular truck repair shop or mobile RV repair. An RV is not a special vehicle that can only be repaired at a RV shop.

You don't need to take your RV to a 'special' RV shop.

Regular repair shops can't stay in business taking in vehicles and parking them for 3 weeks before they work on them. THAT is what RV shops do and somehow people think that is acceptable so they continue to treat RV'ers that way.

Who walks away from their mail for 3 weeks- poor planning

I walk away from mine for 3 months....everything is auto pay now. Time to catch up!!! ;)
  • It can affect your credit score. Call the CC company and nicely ask them to drop the extra charges and fees. Then pay the account off and write them a letter as to EXACTLY why you are closing the account no rants no bad words just the facts. Keep a copy of the letter. If and when you where reported as delinquent you will then send a copy of the letter to the Credit reporting agency to be included in your report when someone inquires about your creditworthiness
