I think he has confused the Extended Warranty with the Emergency Road Service.
Second. no provider is going to instruct the service guy to repair your tire, thet have never seen it and don't know if it is even repairable. Just request service, when they get there have them do the repair if they will. You will pay for everthing except the actual trip out and back. As far as tire price, you don't get the option of shopping around for the best price. They will try to find a service provider with the tire you need.
