The ESP requires precertification. You have to call them to approve a repair. If the mobile technician accepts the reimbursement amount they are willing to pay, they may pay him directly for the repair and you pay the deductible to him or you may have to pay any charge over what they will cover and the deductible. I have used the ESP; had to pay a mobile mechanic( he wouldn't accept) and then submit for reimbursement of their covered amount. They paid in 5 days. The key is they have to pre-certify the repair.
