Extended service contracts

Question

I purchased a travel trailer just over a year ago. We have recently traded it in on a new 5th wheel. I am trying to find out how to cancel the contracts.

They were purchased at camping world and are paint, vinyl, leather and interior protection with First place finish.

Tire and wheel protection

Extended service plan.

I have looked for any info on how to cancel and can't find any. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

What does your contract say? Contact the company. Not suggesting this will be easy.

Of all the things you should read twice before purchase, extended warranty is first in line.

They all say camping world. There are other names but believe that's the stuff they used for them.

Will try them and see what they say. Just trying to navigate the world of cancellations.

What does the contract text say about canceling? VERY likely you have a legal contract that covers a variety of situations.

Usually when cancelling a service contract, if you unit is financed, the refund goes to the lender to apply against the loan. If it is not financed, once it is cancelled, the cancelled paperwork from provider can be taken to the dealer for the refund. Takes a longggg while.

When I cancelled one, I started with the dealer and got the cancellation process from them.
