thats kinda of a rip off to me, I am not sure how it works there, but if the unit needs a special thermostat to work it should have been included.. to me it isn't "fixed" untill it is working.
how old is your camper that they can't order the same unit that you had?
It is a 2019. The 20th Anniversary edition.
So you have what is likely an expensive aftermarket insurance policy (they call it warranty but there are differences).
Regardless, you were successful in getting some of your extended policy premium back without much hassle and a very expensive component replaced.
idk the fine print of your policy but betting you did well to get what’s covered actually covered without much hassle and the policy doesn’t cover other components like a thermostat.
