Well I heard from GS yesterday. Not sure I completely understand what he told me but he is going to refund 1/2 of the charge as a good will gesture.
I was told that they will pay for a service call but that I was responsible for the cost on the service man tightening the valve stem and putting air in the tire, $126.00
That being the case, I could have called the same tire company and they would have charged me the same $126.00. So what am I paying GS for, $100+ a year to make a phone call for me ???
Just asking, confused. last timer I had a flat, they brought a tire, mounted it on the side of the road. I paid for the tire and just signed his service ticket. Gave him a tip but that was all I paid. Things seem to have changed.
