First time used GSRA
On July 3rd while in route to Myrtle Beach SC, my motorhome began to miss and before long it was completly starved for gas. I was on I-77 south and nursed it safely into the KOA at Statesville, NC. It was nearly 5 p.m. and knowing that, I decided i would contact GSRS first thing in the morning and see if anyone would be available for july fourth holiday or i was willing to stay an extra night and wait until after tue holiday.
I called GSRA @ 9 a.m. on July 4th and was happy that someone answered. Before long I was contacted by a regional dispatch person named John. He was very polite. I explained to him that I was in need of having fuel filters changed and would have the filters for a mechanic when they arrived. Within about 30 minutes he called to say that he had found someone and they would be in route soon. After about another half hour the mechanic called to let me know he was in route and would arrive in about an hour.
He arrived and changed my filters, was very friendly and his price was very reasonable considering the holiday. The GSRA rep. Informed me that they had paid to get the service to me and i would be responsible for labor and parts (which i had already) which i was aware of. No horror story here folks.....just good friendly people all the way around! Thanks
