Is it possible that in tossing all of the GoodSam mailings you threw away the one telling you that because you are a long time member they gave you a complimentary roadside assistance membership? Sounds completely plausible to me that this is what happened. So, now because you failed to open the mailer advising you of this free membership, you accuse GoodSam of deceptive tactics. If you had opened the original mailing, you would have been anticipating the renewal notice and could have just replied with a simple no thank you.
Yes, I agree that that is probably what happened. However, they have been sending me an awful lot of junk and I had no idea they might do something like this.
Just this week, I got a mailing from Good Sam TravelAssist that says "
REGISTRATION ENCLOSED - Includes Official I.D. Card".
I also got something from Good Sam Insurance Agency that says "IMPORTANT: It's time to register your choice regarding an important new benefit. Please verify RV Owner data inside ..."
Were those both just vaguely worded "offers", or am I now enrolled in those services too?
