Good Evening Keithhelms,
I do apologize if you feel Good Sam was trying to be deceptive. I assure you that was never our intent. Our intent was to recognize your long standing membership and provide you with special trial access to one of our services. I understand that you did not have an opportunity to take advantage of our special offer. If you could send me a private message with your contact information we can discuss what possible options I have to make this right for you. Thank you...Rudy, Good Sam Response Team.
I think Keithhelms is right and GS is being decpetive. Just as they tried to be with me at CW on my inspection.
When are you guys (GS & CW) going to learn that your chosen words appear to be deceptive and lead to a deceptive course of action? Your words are not welcoming to GS members. GS members are not feeling appreciated. When you tell them they are late for paying for a bill on something they never asked for and when you tell someone in your stores that they need work done that doesn't need to be done. Why not tell your members something like was mentioned above about thank you for being a member. We hope you enjoyed the free trial we gave you back in January. If you would like to continue this service, then please feel free to take advantage of our special savings price to GS members....blah blah blah... And in your stores, rather than telling someone you have debris in your hot water heat er and it needs to be serviced (at 2 yrs old),....why not be truthful and say something like, we noticed there was dust, grass clippings and a wasp behind your hot water cover. We recommend that you clean it out and you might want to think about putting a bug screen over the vent to prevent wasps and other bugs from going in there. By the way, we sell them and they are on aisle. We also recommend having your hot water heater unit serviced every x amount of years. The service inccludes us doing this, this and this. No...you would rather just say dirt and debris in hot water heater. Needs service. Then you want to do it on a refrigerator. The AC (dirty air filter). etc....
