Am I the only one who has difficulty GETTING the advertised discount ?
Last year, it didn't work at all.....which was solved when someone at GS found that my membership card had never been activated with Pilot/Flying J.
Then it seemed to work for about a year. I only use it when their "sign" price is the same as others in the vicinity.
So now at a Flying J in Georgia, no discount again. And when I went inside to complain.......both cashiers were lined up about 10 deep.
The main problem: The information provided at the pump, I think, is purposely designed to make it ambiguous as to whether or not your discount has been approved. SEE YOUR RECEIPT FOR YOUR DISCOUNT is purposely deceptive I think.
The pump should display DISCOUNT APPROVED or DISCOUNT DENIED. A trivial task for the people programming the pumps.....unless they have been instructed to NOT do that on purpose.
I'm tempted to contact the Georgia Attorney General. I think this borders on fraud.
