Hmm, I have a Flying J RV card that I've sometimes used, but not so much any more. Why?
1) The program seemed to change in between my uses requiring me to reapply, get a new card, or some other time consuming exercise. OK, I don't RV full time so I'm not constantly fueling up my RV.
2) The discounts I've seen have only gotten the price down to the same as the competition around the stations. I can fuel up at these stations without the hassle of using the RV card and wondering if it will give me the discount in the first place. And for a lot of those stations getting in and out of the pumps with an RV is a heck of a lot easier.
3) To get to the next level of discount I'm told I need to purchase $xx amount of stuff from their stores. At best it gives me a discount on a large drink of something I don't want or need at the time I fuel up.
Compared to other gas discount programs it's just too much of a bother.
