At least you are getting your vehicle fixed. The DW had a, NOT at fault accident and GMAC told the Dodge dealer to fix it, then with about ½ the work completed, they changed their mind, subrogated fault and walked, leaving us holding the bag on over $3000. It took a lawsuit to get a settlement which paid the body shop and to add insult to injury, they terminated our insurance on the spot. The insurance company we went to said this was normal operation for GMAC and after reviewing the accident gave us full coverage without any penalty. Expect to pay a huge increase in you next premium or be dropped....
